Explorers Academy course details

The online courses start on the first Monday of every month, and run throughout the year except July, August and holiday periods. Two or several courses may be taken simultaneously. For the next 3-week Adventure Challenge on-site course in the South of France please refer to the course description.

Basic Travel & Tourism program: Specialty Travel course Definition and Operations Sociology of Tourism course Destination Geography course Internet Management course Teambuilding and Leadership course	5 courses, 20 hours per course, total 100 hours.
Adventure Challenge on-site training in the Pyrenees	3 weeks, 120 hours
Continuation programs: Travel Pro: Basic Travel & Tourism program plus: Sales & Customer Services course Cross Cultural Communication course	2 courses, 7 and 20 hours total 27 hours.
Eco Expert: Basic and Travel Pro program plus: Sustainable Tourism course Market Reserach course	2 courses, 10 hours per course total 20 hours.
Entrepreneur: Basic, Travel Pro and Eco Expert programs plus: Business Planning & Development course Business Management course Budgeting and Accounting course	3 courses, 10 hours per course total 30 hours.

The time frame indicated reflect the faculty's plan for the student to spend the assigned number of hours and weeks to complete the course. But the nature of online learning offer a great degree of flexibility, and you can take the courses at your own pace, faster or slower. However, you are expected to complete the program within double the assigned time, unless there are particular reasons to further extend the course or program period. You can omit specific courses in a program if you have equivalent education or professional experience.
